‘Haunted CASA’ Open House in Photos

College of Science and Mathematics Dean Christopher Meyer joins the CASA team at the photo booth during the Open House event.

His Royal Bulldogness, Victor E. Bulldog IV, dressed as Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story, was among the distinguished guests who graced the occasion at the Center for Access to Science for All (CASA), ‘Haunted CASA” Open House event held outside the McLane Annex.

CASA relocated its operations to the Annex to pave the way for renovations at their original home in the Science I building.

Visitors, some dressed in Halloween costumes, were given a tour of the facility, enjoyed food, posed for photos at the photo booth, painted pumpkins, and played games.

The CASA team, under the leadership of director Lilia De La Cerda, dressed up in costumes reminiscent of students from Hogwarts School of Wizardry. Hogwarts is a fictional boarding school of magic famously associated with the character Harry Potter.

Dr. Christopher Meyer, Dean of the College of Science and Mathematics, also attended the open house.
Presenters included representatives from Black Excellence in Science and Technology (BEST).

Here are a few photos from the event.
